Corum Construction Ltd is proud to lead and contribute to safe construction environment informing, monitoring and influencing clients and our employees working in the construction industry. CCL have a legal obligation to ensure that every contractor working for a Client/ Architect/Main Contractor , operates in a safe manner and complies with current health and safety regulations. We are always conscious of the implementation of Health & Safety Policy that is updated on a yearly basis by an external advisor from the Health & Safety Consortium Ltd. The company provides training to its personnel to ensure that no one disregards health & safety standards and all of our staff are fully trained to the required standard and in possession of a relevant qualification from a 5 day Site Management Safety Training, to the basic CSCS Construction Site Operative card.
In order to implement Company policy in a successful manner, our personnel is committed to cooperate with the Contractor and Client on every project. Our responsibilities include:

  • Recognize to rules, procedures and training regarding safe working
  • Use the correct methods of work and not improvise by using methods, tools or equipment which involve unnecessary risks to safety or health;
  • Wear the protective clothing and equipment specified at all times and if there is a legal requirements to or due to the nature of work;
  • Report unsafe plant, tools and equipment and unsafe practices or methods of work
  • Report any potential Health and Safety hazard including infections or other diseases, accidents, injuries or concerns associated with the workplace;
  • Assist in the maintenance of good housekeeping standards

Our Company Health and Safety Policy contains the detailed organisation and arrangements in relation to all our rules and procedures and you are free to refer to a copy of this at our office.
Our policy is monitored on a regular basis in order to ensure that the objectives are achieved. It is reviewed and, if necessary, revised in the light of legislative or organisational changes.
