What Is New at Corum?

Parkway Newbury Residential Project

6/07/2011. Corum team has recently acquired a Carpentry and Decorating  installation package on Newbury Parkway residential project, Costain being Main Contractor. The project is the latest development by Standard Life Investments, consisting of   mixture of retail, restaurants and approximately 200 residential units. MPG Contractor is a general Fit-Out Subcontractor and the overall value of the works to Corum is in excess of 200 K, which includes joinery, toilets, floor and wall finishes. The scheme is scheduled to run for our works between July 2011- January 2012.

This is yet another landmark project  in collaboration with MPG, and Corum is confident that the scheme will be delivered to the Clients expectation, on time and to a high quality finish.

Corum has achieved a Training for Nullfire manufacturer

1/6/2011. Corum painting / decorating operatives have recently received a training certificate by Nullfire manufacturer. following a course on theoretical and practical application of Nullfire systems. Nullfire manufacturer is a leading developer of intumescent fire protective coatings in the UK and Europe, and has pioneered the use of this technology for over 30 years to offer trusted, life-saving solutions to protect steel structures and timber surfaces; service penetrations; and construction movement joints.

Completion of a project in cooperation with Marley Eternit cladding manufacturer

17/6/2011. Corum is happy to announce yet another  successfully completed scheme where a roof cladding works have taken a major part on a Croydon Framework  project (Principal Contractor is Breyer Group Ltd). The works have involved cooperation with Marley Eternit manufacturer of weatherboard cladding that can easily replace traditional timber weatherboard for a low maintenance and is a  rot free alternative.

New and Exciting Project in Partnership with Mansell Plc

17/5/2011. Corum lands a painting / decorating contract, part of  4.5M re-development project at the Grade II listed headquarters at Portland Place, London.

The contract  involves refurbishment at the front of the building alongside demolition and reconstruction at the rear of the development. Fireplaces and ceilings will be retained in the original style. Corum will undertake the front facade renovation with specialist durable exterior paints, manufactured by Keim. All interior premises are to be painted and wallpaper covered. The works have commenced this week and Corum operative are looking forward to complete the job successfully and with no delays.

High Performance Cladding Training for Marley Eternit

10 May, 2011. Corum Construction operatives  have recently attended high performance Cladding Training Course, arranged by Marley Eternit, and got a relevant certificate.

As a company, Marley Eternit can provide a solution to meet Client’s most challenging  cladding requirement, at the same time Corum operatives can realize these requirements on Client’s site, applying a range of innovative and traditional products to cover any needs.

Corum is a preferred installer for Shackerley

19 April 2011. Corum operatives have recently been listed in the preferred list of installers for Shackerley (Holdings) Group Ltd.

Corum operatives have received valuable information on the Sureclad Ventilated Facade System, the cutting, fabrication and assembly processes. We are proud to be the first in London area to go through such an assessment  process.
